I didn't stumble into finance — I built my career deliberately, one country at a time.

Starting in South Africa, I ran my own bookkeeping practice, Outsource It, before moving to New Zealand where I worked inside a Chartered Accounting firm preparing tax returns for companies, individuals, and trusts. When I arrived in Australia, I stepped into one of the most complex finance roles I've held — Financial Controller across 11 trading entities, managing a team of offshore bookkeepers, overseeing everything from RDTI government funding to ASIC, AFCA, and MFAA compliance.

That breadth is rare. Most bookkeepers know one system, one country, one type of business. I've worked across three countries, eight industries — from financial lending and mining to construction and retail — and I've had to understand the regulatory rules of each one deeply enough to keep businesses protected and compliant.

I started Outsource It in Australia because I kept seeing the same problem: business owners paying for help but still feeling anxious about their numbers, still unsure if they were truly compliant, still making decisions without real financial clarity. I built this practice to fix that.

I'm a registered BAS Agent and ASIC Agent, Xero Certified Advisor, and MYOB partner. I'm currently completing my Diploma in Accounting — with the Chartered Accountant program to follow — because I believe the best advisors never stop learning.
